SUMMARY:

The focus for the summer season at Games by James was Kubb, a Vikings-era lawn game in which teams of players ultimately attempt to knock over a central king piece. The goal was to create a poster that was simple, eye-catching, and communicated the intent of Kubb as easily as possible. With that in mind, I designed a bright, bold poster featuring the king Kubb piece in three colorways that posed a single question: Do you have what it takes to rule?
